This rare South American native is an extremely gorgeous species that you are not likely to find in your local garden centers. Fuchsia denticulata is almost constantly blooming here in California, and the best shows are in the cooler months of spring and autumn. Its slender, dangling flowers are a rare combination of light red, orange, pink, white and green! Even though this is a vigorous upright species, it should really be trained into a hanging specimen so that you can see the wonderful riot of colors of the blooms from below. Dark green, lush foliage. Hardy from zone 9 onwards. 5 feet tall and wide. Light shade. Moist, rich soil. Very rare, fresh seeds, harvested 09/2023.
