Salvia cacaliaefolia, 5 seeds
Here's an extremely rare and beautiful Sage with such fuzzy, gorgeously gentian-blue flowers that it just takes the looker's breath away. Native to the mountains of southern Mexico, Guatemala and the Honduras, Salvia cacaliaefolia blooms from summer through autumn. Gardens located in mild climates are favored with flowering for 8 to 10 months. The small but abundant, vividly colored blossoms garnish terminal racemes above the soft mounds of emerald-green, thick triangular leaves. Sprawling habit. Hardy from zone 9 upwards. 4 feet tall, 2 feet wide. Part shade. Any average well-drained garden soils. Average water. Usually available as plants or cuttings, very rare seeds as each seed pod usually only contains zero to 2 seeds. Exclusive seeds, harvested 11/2024.
