From the Cape region of South Africa comes this exotic and hard-to-find Salvia africana-lutea with huge, orange/root-beer colored flowers with brown calyx. Blue-green foliage. 5 feet tall, 3 feet wide. Full sun to part shade. Rich, well-drained soil. Hardy from zone 9 onwards. Usually available only in plant form, hard-to-find fresh seeds, harvested 05/2023 - 06/2023.
