Among the world's rarest sages is this Salvia sessilifolia from the high elevations of Madagascar. The upright-growing perennial has narrow textured leaves and blooms from late spring onwards. Very handsome with its dense spikes of deep burgundy flowers. Hardy from zone 9 onwards. 4 feet tall and wide. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Moderate watering. Hard-to-find exclusive seeds, harvested 01/2025.
