Ipomoea purpurea 'Vickie Harding', 35 seeds
The morning glory that rekindled our interest in morning glories, :-). This stunning annual twining vine came along as a weed in our new yard, growing on gravel where nothing else is growing and no water nor care has ever been applied intentionally. Without any climbing structure to hold it up, Vickie Harding scrambled along the walk way, entangling on itself making an ugly mess until one day, in mid spring, it suddenly became a glorious sight! Tons of pretty light pink flowers atop of dark green heart-shaped leaves. All without effort, how wondrous is that! And amazingly, it is unusual in having beige-colored seeds. 10 feet or more. Full sun for earliest bloom. Poor soil. Moderate water. Fresh seeds, harvested 08/2017 - 09/2017. Open-pollinated.
