Not your typical member of the Iris family, the Ferraria is a collector plant native to Africa. We have suggestions from a Croatian buyer that it might be F. crispa. This gorgeously exotic has "disturbingly" odd-looking flowers that are star-fish shaped, with unusual frilly edges and gorgeously and variantly striped/speckled/spotted. Hardy from zone 9 onwards. 1' tall, 9" wide. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Fresh, hard-to-find seeds, harvested 05/2024.
