A very beautiful perennial twiner that absolutely lights up the dreary winter garden. The small, purple, pea-like flowers of Kennedia monophylla are borne in cascading racemes, and many passerbys had asked "What is this AWESOME WINTER-FLOWERING WISTERIA ?". This is the "Happy Wanderer" variety with wider, triangular-shaped leaves. Hardy from zone 9 upwards. 10 feet or more. Full sun to light shade. Well-drained soil. Average water. Fresh seeds, harvested 08/2016.
