Impatiens hoehnelii, 5 seeds
Here is yet another hard-to-find African plant that you are not likely to find anywhere else. Impatiens hoehnelii is a low-growing species, in bloom almost year-round here in California. Cute baby-pink flowers with two wide-spread petals that seem to say "Come give me a hug", :-). Also commonly called the Butterfly Impatiens for this same reason. Hardy from zone 9 onwards. Part shade. 6" tall, 1 foot wide. Rich, moist soil. Regular watering. Exclusive, fresh seeds, harvested 06/2011.
